Important limitations and features
You can't be the first to write to VK chats from RadistWeb. You can only reply to incoming messages.
New chats are created only after the user writes to the community.
For the connection to work, community messages must be enabled in the VK community settings.
Posts, products, videos, and music are not downloaded — only links (limited by the VK API).
Group chats require additional activation in the community settings and administrator rights.
Chats will be pulled up in the IFrame automatically after successful activation. Some actions may require authentication via MAX (depending on VK's security settings).
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why do posts, products, videos, and music come with links rather than full-fledged content? The VK API does not provide the ability to download these types of content. When you receive such messages, a link is displayed in the chat where you can view the content directly on VKontakte.
Do I need to pay for connecting the VK Community to Radist.Online? No, the connection is free. There are no restrictions on the number of communities.
Can I reply in group chats? Yes, you can send text messages, pictures, voice messages, and files to group chats. However, the "Read" status for outgoing messages will not be displayed.
How can I update the access key if it has expired? Go to Connection editing, create a new access key in the VK community settings and paste it into the appropriate field. Save the changes.
Why aren't messages coming from the group chat? Check that:
The "Add community to conversations" option is enabled in the community settings.
The community is the administrator in this group chat.
In RadistWeb, the "Group Chats" option is enabled in the connection settings.
What should I do if the message is not being sent? Make sure that the access key is up to date and has the necessary permissions (access to messages). Also check if the user is blacklisted.
